Creative Brief:

100% CSS designed web site to dovetail the Chicago Tri Club Stroke and Stride Racing Series (S&S).

I saw the potential for growth and jumped. The S&S started small, as a group of friends meeting every Tuesday to swim and run. However, if you are going to do something, do it right and do big. I created the web site to accomplish two objectives; resolve the lack of information concerning the course and grow the S&S by leveraging existing online resources.

Adding the course outline and linking to MapMyTri.com cleared up all questions concerning the route. Next season S&Swill submit race results to Athlinks.com. This will draw more traffic from Athlinks.com, specifically the CTC Athlinks.com page, to the S&S events.

Blue Sky Inn View Site

Creative Brief:

Blue Sky Inn, a non-profit, tax-exempt organization established to provide educational, cultural and recreational activities to at-risk youth in Chicago. Complete redesign of Blue Sky Inn web site Special attention was paid on usability. The need to distribute news to users was resolved by adding the news box on the homepage. Client requested the site be cleaned up and expanded to include their new branch, A Taste of Success. The galleries were completely revamped using lightboxing.
